Snow in Wrightwood

We have just had our biggest winter storm since moving to Wrightwood. It resulted in 3 days of no school, 3 avalanches, down powerlines and road closures. All in all, about 4 feet of snow.Plowing our street
Teeka, one of our dogs loved it. However, Tai Chi our pug wanted no part of it!Ro would throw doggie bones into the snow and Teeka would bury her head in trying to find them. When she lifted her head she looked like a "SNOWDOG".

Mountain Bike Race

Last Saturday the boys were invited to go on a mountain bike race. It was a first for Cory. We all didn't know what to expect. It was a lot of fun and very interesting to watch. I think they now have it in their veins. Kevin got the clearance from the doctor to try next time.

The Ultimate Birthday Gift

Mom gets the best purse ever! What else could a girl want but a rubber chicken hand bag? Brenna gave mom this wonderful gift for her birthday. Notice it matches her squealing rubber chicken that she got as a white elephant gift at Chris and Lenny's (our cousins) Christmas party.
